Welcome to the World of Mahnoor Dochki

Embarking on this transformative odyssey into the world of fashion.

With a fervent passion for clothing driving my journey, I began my formal education at RELAK College of Home Economics, immersing myself in garment design from 2014 to 2015. To further hone my craft, I pursued a diploma in Fashion Designing at the Karachi School of Arts, graduating in 2016. That same year, I had the honor of having my design featured as the show-stopper dress at a prestigious fashion show organized by the institute, marking the beginning of my ascent into haute couture.

Eager to refine my skills, I continued my studies at the Asian Institute of Fashion Designing in 2017, deepening my understanding of the art and science of fashion. Alongside my academic pursuits, I gained practical experience through a series of internships, which played a crucial role in shaping my professional journey.

In 2021, I was offered admission to Manchester Metropolitan, Salford Manchester, and Bolton Manchester for a BA (Hons) in Fashion Designing. However, I chose to stay in Karachi and embark on my entrepreneurial journey instead. This decision marked the start of an exciting chapter in fashion, overcoming challenges with determination and an unwavering commitment to sartorial excellence.

At Mahnoor Dochki, we cater to a diverse clientele with categories that include casuals, lux pret, haute couture, and bridal wear. Our casuals are minimalist and designed for daily comfort, while our lux pret features clean cuts and a well-balanced luxury feel, perfect for Asian events. Our haute couture collection includes hand-worked, bespoke designs with customization options for both desi and western clients. Our bridal wear represents the pinnacle of our craftsmanship, with heavily hand-embroidered articles for both Asian and Western brides.

Each piece starts as a blank canvas, showcasing our dedication to creating unique, beautiful garments from the ground up. Our production unit in Karachi, Sindh, is where this magic happens, and I am personally involved in daily operations, training my team, and learning alongside them.

As a woman navigating the complexities of the fashion industry, I understand firsthand the unique challenges we face. But I firmly believe that our gender should never define us—our achievements should. To every woman with a dream, remember that the path may be difficult, but it’s not the end. Never giving up on your passion is always the right choice. What you achieve through perseverance will be your true legacy.

We are delighted to share that Mahnoor Dochki will soon be featured on the cover of Hello Pakistan magazine, with our bridal collection making its debut in the September 2024 issue. This exclusive feature is a testament to our dedication and craftsmanship, and we are thrilled to share this milestone with you.
